My mom passed away in February 2017 having lived a full life of 93 years. Her last years surely would not have been the same without the experienced services of loving caregivers from Chevy Chase Home Care. Seven days per week, split between them, Aliman and Sunny provided a full range of assistance for my mom in her home – preparing healthful meals, ensuring my mom took her meds, driving her to appointments, contacting my sisters and me as necessary, accompanying my mom in emergencies (which unfortunately multiplied towards the end) to a hospital or rehab facility, and more.

I am writing on behalf of myself, my two sisters, and my mother, Moira Black, to strongly recommend Chevy Chase Home Care. Your agency helped us gain wonderful help for the last year of my father’s life. My father, Henry Clay Black, was 89 and suffered from Parkinson’s and congestive heart failure. The caregivers you provided to help with my father’s care – he had late-stage Parkinson’s and some dementia as a result – were knowledgeable and caring, and your agency was always responsive and ready to help when we had any issues.

You have my permission to post it to the Internet; you may circulate it in any way you wish. My mother died this week in her one hundredth year. Like so many children of aged parents, I was faced before her death with the problem of caring for her at a distance. I have had some experiences of caregivers, and of the services that they advertise. I have been disappointed.
