Make positive influence to someone’s life!

My mom passed away in February 2017 having lived a full life of 93 years. Her last years surely would not have been the same without the experienced services of loving caregivers from Chevy Chase Home Care. Seven days per week, split between them, Aliman and Sunny provided a full range of assistance for my mom in her home – preparing healthful meals, ensuring my mom took her meds, driving her to appointments, contacting my sisters and me as necessary, accompanying my mom in emergencies (which unfortunately multiplied towards the end) to a hospital or rehab facility, and more.

Dear Dr. Lakiza,

I am writing on behalf of myself, my two sisters, and my mother, Moira Black, to strongly recommend Chevy Chase Home Care. Your agency helped us gain wonderful help for the last year of my father’s life. My father, Henry Clay Black, was 89 and suffered from Parkinson’s and congestive heart failure. The caregivers you provided to help with my father’s care – he had late-stage Parkinson’s and some dementia as a result – were knowledgeable and caring, and your agency was always responsive and ready to help when we had any issues.

Sheila Black

Dear Dr. Lakiza:

This is a personal letter, but I would be very glad, nonetheless, were you to show it to your clients and make it available to your prospective clients as well. You have my permission to post it to the Internet; you may circulate it in any way you wish. My mother died this week in her one hundredth year. Like so many children of aged parents, I was faced before her death with the problem of caring for her at a distance. I have had some experiences of caregivers, and of the services that they advertise. I have been disappointed.

Washington DC

Dr. Lakiza provided excellent, qualified support personnel to help with our parents’ care over nearly a decade. Very reasonably priced and responsible, caring support. We are very grateful! Highly recommended.

Dear Dr. Lakiza, I recently received a phone call from someone seeking a reference regarding your services. I told this person how happy our family had been with you and your staff of compassionate and competent caregivers. I would be happy to have you use this email of reference for prospective clients. We gratefully recall how for almost 10 consecutive years you provided 24/7 home care for our loved one. Never once during that lengthy period did any of the caregivers fail to show up.

Jack K.

They all provided expert care and attention to our loved one. They prepared and, in time, fed her nutritious meals, assured her personal hygiene and made sure she took her medications. You provided us with invaluable guidance on supplemental assistance that might be needed, including hospice care. You arranged for one one of the caregivers to do food shopping after it became clear that she could no longer get out for even a short trip to this herself.

Jack K.

Most importantly, you explained to us why moving her into an assisted living or continuing care facility would not be a good alternative for her. We trusted your guidance and are very grateful we did so. She was clearly so much better cared for by your staff in her own apartment than she would have been anywhere else. Finally, feel free to provide my contact information to prospective clients should they want to speak to me directly. Sincerely, Jack Kluttz and family
